Tulip Flower Field Photoshoots at Burnside Farms
If you’ve never experienced the tulip fields at Burnside Farms, you’re missing out! This fleeting spring attraction is only available for a few short weeks typically in March-April timeframe. Burnside Farms announces their opening dates on their Instagram typically, so keep an eye on their site for when they open. Their tickets sell out fairly quickly, especially on weekend dates, so book early to ensure you have a spot.
When you first get there, you’re met with an array of wicker baskets to choose from to hold your flowers as you walk through the fields.
Once you walk in, you’ll see rows and rows of flowers for you to walk through. There’s a few different varieties closer to the entrance, which are all gorgeous as well, but the main show is towards the back of the farm. To get to the tulips, you can either walk a short distance to the fields, or there’s an optional wagon to take you out to the field.
At the field there are so many different colors of tulips – orange (my favorite), red, purple, white, yellow, and more. As you walk, you get to choose 5 tulips included in your session (for the 2025 season) and you can optionally purchase additional as well.
There’s a few other things to do while you’re at the tulip field as well, and it’s a perfect spot for the kids! In 2025, they had a large bounce area for the kids to jump around and food trucks (including an ice cream truck).
This is the perfect spot for a family photoshoot – kids can pick flowers and run around, and have ice cream after! The fields may be crowded, but we’ll embrace the beauty of the fields and capture magic for your family.
